The Collab Lab is a program for early career developers that teaches collaboration within software teams. The Collab Lab is volunteer-driven and free for participants. We run one cohort per quarter, typically with teams in North America, Latin America (in Spanish), and Europe/Africa time zones.
We rely on free/freemium tools including GitHub, Netlify, Firebase, Slack, Notion, and Google Workspace as much as possible, but do have some fixed costs such as paid Zoom licenses for staff and the domain name for our website. We’d like to be on a paid tier for both Netlify and 1Password.
