GitHub Sponsors Profile

I'm Vedang, and I've been working in the tech space in some way, shape or form for 15+ years.
My current interests are learning, meta-learning, distributed systems and decentralized collaboration (not in a web3 way, in a CRDT way). I also have thoughts on static sites, brain forests and web-page annotation. I am hoping to open-source a bunch of libraries and projects targeting these areas.
I have made big and small contributions to a number of open-source libraries -- I am a gardener that way. It's easier for me to fix problems I see than solve problems from scratch. I also believe in building community support and momentum behind already existing projects.
I am the maintainer of pdf-tools, a reasonably popular Emacs package. pdf-tools already solves all my annotation and reading requirements in Emacs, but there are many feature requests and PRs pending on it. Sponsorship is important to me because it lets me spend time on pdf-tools and other plans I have for giving back to the community :)
