Hey, I'm Steve. I make open source creative tools for the web. I also create content about visual algorithms, tools design, and making fun things with code. Your sponsorship will help me buy time to work on my open source projects and create new content about it.

You might know me from such projects as:

tldraw - a tiny little drawing app
perfect-freehand - a utility for variable-width lines
perfect-arrows - a utility for drawing arrows
globs.design - an app for designing with globs
state-designer - a "design phase" state management library

I like to joke that in a few years, all of our apps will be whiteboard apps. Tools and patterns from art and design software are starting to show their utility in all sorts of applications, from note-taking to remote meetings and more. There's a real need for high-quality, open-source code to help prototype and build the next generation of apps with these sorts of experiences—and, well, I love writing that code.
I also love to share what I'm working on, mostly in the form of long Twitter threads. As an upside of working on visual problems, that content can get pretty fun to look at.

With your sponsorship, I'll be able to contribute more to my existing set of projects, launch some new ones, and respond more to the needs of users. Your sponsorship will also allow me to invest more time in higher-quality content: blog posts, tutorials, and example repositories.
