GitHub Sponsors Profile
Rust is used by millions of developers and some of the world's largest companies, but the language itself is maintained largely by volunteers of the Rust Project. These are engineers who review pull requests, triage issues, write documentation, and shepherd Requests For Comment (RFCs) in their spare time, often after a full day of other work.
The Rust Foundation Maintainers Fund (RFMF) exists to give maintainers the financial support that lets them dedicate real, sustained time to the language the world is increasingly depending on.
The Rust Foundation Maintainers Fund is an initiative from the Rust Foundation, a 501(c)(6) nonprofit. Contributions are not tax-deductible as charitable donations, but may be deductible as ordinary business expenses for companies. Learn more about the Rust Foundation.
Proceeds raised through this page will be distributed to maintainers through an open process governed by the Rust Project and Foundation.
Any amount helps. You can use the custom amount field to contribute a one-time donation or you can select one of the options for a recurring commitment. If you are interested in monthly giving at higher levels, please get in touch with us using the email address below!
