I'm John Braun, living in The Netherlands where I did my PhD in Organic Chemistry at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. While working in the research group I have developed numerous software tools which increased overall productivity. These tools are collected within a dedicated SyBOrCh organisation. Currently I support both Universiteit van Amsterdam and VU Amsterdam with my open source software tools.
I am mostly working with the Laravel framework and since May 2019 I'm a Laravel Certified developer.
In 2019 I wrote a blog post series on PHP package development, specifically for Laravel. This eventually lead to the creation of the open source documentation LaravelPackage.com which offers beginners a comprehensive guide to get started with Laravel Package Development.
