We are the Winter CMS team working on the Winter CMS platform, a free, open-source, community driven, self-hosted CMS platform based on the Laravel PHP framework; with a simple, precise, and beautiful interface that comes as second nature.
Using our collective knowledge and over 50 years of combined experience with web development, our goal is to create a platform that makes development enjoyable again for website and application developers, makes it simple for theme and plugin designers to release and promote their products, and for their clients and users to fall in love with the end result. We embrace open-source and community contributions, with active and vibrant communities on Discord and GitHub.
The Winter CMS organisation comprises of 4 maintainers, the Winter CMS codebase and its underlying library, the documentation and over 20 free and open-source plugins which power tens of thousands of websites across the globe.
However, maintaining and developing new features to all these projects while staying active in the community takes a considerable amount of time and effort, all paid for with the free time of the Winter CMS team.
