I've been involved in tech most of my life, and professionally as my primary career for over 20 years. During that time I've been very much an open source guy. I spent the first half of my career focused on Drupal. During my tenure in the Drupal community I contributed several modules, worked on a large number of client sites and applications big and small across 5+ different development shops. Of particular note; I was one the 5th person in the world to earn Drupal's "Grand Master" certification for Drupal 7.
These days, I'm working at a SaaS startup, and bootstrapping several other startup ventures, incubating apps, doing client work, and occasionally film making and voice over work. I wear lots of hats, but still enjoy contributing to open source whenever I have time. I'm a firm believer in paying it forward as I've definitely benefited from the efforts of others before me, so to shall others benefit from my efforts.
Most of the open source things I work on, on a regular basis are PHP (Laravel, specifically) or JS related.
