My work revolves around exploring and expanding the possibilities of virtual machine introspection (VMI).
I truly believe that VMI is changing how we see hypervisors, shifting our view of virtual machines from opaque containers to fully transparent and instrumentable systems.
Some examples of my work:
KVM-VMI: a Github community dedicated to bring a native VMI API on KVM, currently working with Bitdefender to offer an easy setup for their patches on both QEMU and KVM, as well as a LibVMI integration.
pyvmidbg: a hypervisor-level GDB stub, capable of understanding the whole guest context and debug a specific process
libmicrovmi: a unified VMI abstraction interface, written in Rust, designed for simplicity and composability
awesome-virtualization: a collection of resources about virtualization and hypervisor development
