👋 We are TypeFox – a team of software pioneers based in Kiel, northern Germany. Since 2016, we’ve been building and maintaining open source tools, libraries, and frameworks that are widely used across industries, and helping companies put them into practice.

These are the main open source projects that we have founded and are actively maintaining:

Langium – build powerful domain-specific languages (DSLs) with ease
Theia – create custom, web-based IDEs on a VS Code–like foundation
Open Collaboration Tools – integrate real-time collaborative editing into IDEs and web apps
Sprotty – render interactive diagrams to visualize models and data

We also maintain several other libraries, including monaco-languageclient, Typir, monaco-components and vscode-messenger.
