I've contributed code to many OSS projects such as Spring Boot, Spring Retry and TestContainers, but my main focus so far has been Spring for Apache Kafka and Spring Cloud AWS.
Spring Cloud AWS
I've designed and implemented the new SQS Integration, a high-throughput, non-blocking solution capable of processing 17K+ messages / second on a single EC2 instance.
This integration has 40K+ lines of code and docs so far, months of really hard work put in, and many more to come :D
Spring for Apache Kafka
I've contributed the Non-Blocking Delayed Retries feature and a few other features, with 20K+ lines of code and docs committed to the project.
Other Messaging Projects
The solution I created for Spring Cloud AWS SQS integration is a meta-framework that can be adapted to a number of other messaging systems, combining the ease of use of Spring Projects with a highly customizable high-throughput solution with parallel processing built-in.
I've created two proof-of-concept projects for Apache Pulsar and Parallel-Kafka-Consumer.
