If I'm lucky enough to be sponsored, I'll be using this to fund my work on various (mainly Python) libraries, in particular pg8000, the Python driver for PostgreSQL used by Google, Amazon and many others.
With pg8000 there's a steady stream of bug fixes and feature requests coming in. In addition to that, I'm keen to develop a simpler API. Currently pg8000 is conforms to DB-API 2.0, but the new, simpler API could perhaps feed into discussions about DB-API 3.0? Who knows!
