GitHub Sponsors Profile

Hi!
I'm Tit Petric, I'm from Slovenia. I'm working at Tyk, and contribute to open source. I'm currently working on:

https://github.com/go-bridget/mig - Mig - a sql database migration tooling and codegen,
https://github.com/titpetric/task-ui - Task UI - a web front end providing an interface to https://taskfile.dev
https://blog.semgrep-ci.com - engineering best practices / refactoring blog
https://scene-si.org - tutorials and other go dev content

Accepting sponsorships is as much an experiment as a necessity. Some people care about some things, and these things don't always overlap with your vision. It's harder saying no sometimes for good reason, rather to step into a contract where this choice is taken away.
I pledge,

to engineer the projects to the highest quality standards,
to abandon what is deprecated, resolve what is vulnerable,
to iterate the solution - what do users need,
to cotribute to the ecosystem (financial, PRs).

Working under such criteria is time consuming and exhaustive. Hopefully there is interest enough in some of my projects, that i am able to dedicate some of my time to supporting and growing them or turn them into viable businesses in time.
As for your sponsorship - I afraid I'm going to be boring here, no jets, lambos, or jachts - I'll likely get taxed on it somewhat and try to save anything for some of my todolist on the life side of the work/life balance. It's likely some will go towards possible hosting costs or other project needs, but my biggest cost is time.
