I like to build things

Why?
Working on open source brings me a lot of joy, especially when the stuff I do helps or is useful to others as well. I'm a huge fan of super useful tools with minimal to no dependencies. The good thing about this is that you can use the tools with whatever library or framework you want, it will just work. I believe in Open Source, use it as much as possible and regularly contribute to projects I use myself.
That being said, open-source is a community-driven concept, it's super frustrating and demoralizing if people use the tools to make money (directly or indirectly by salary or it being companies) and don't give back to the community (via donations or contributions).
What happens with the money
The money is primarily used to cover running costs: server costs, gh-pro, tooling, and electricity.
The remaining money is distributed with contributors to my open-source projects proportionally to their contribution.
What I Work On
I build and maintain popular projects like DragSelect (an easy javascript drag-select and drop functionality done right)
How Your Sponsorship Helps
I have a demanding full-time job that takes a lot of my time. Sponsorships keep the motivation to work on open-source projects. Not getting paid for work can be frustrating and demotivating sometimes. The best way to support is either contributing yourself with time or with money that I can then convert into time.
Knowing that someone values my time gives me tickles of joy. šŖ
The higher tiers (š„ Bronze, š„ Silver, š
Gold and š„ Ultimate) allow me to allocate some serious time each month on the projects and their support. Iād be even happy to provide intensive 1 on 1 support.
If you are just looking for a very good engineer to hire, look out for the š Star tier.
Regardless of the amount, all sponsors get my gratitude - thank you! š¤
