Hi, I'm Nova. I'm an autistic nonbinary FOSS XR developer working on ensuring every person in XR has the ability to use their devices in a way they want.
To do this, I'm contributing to projects like StereoKit and Monado by adding new hardware support, ensuring compatibility with Linux, etc.
I'm also working on a project called Stardust XR, a system UI (technically a display server) for XR Linux distros that allows a user to install seperate compatible software to create all the OS user interfaces for their device. That means that no matter their ability/disability, neurotype, or preference they can trivially make their computer work in a comfortable and productive way. As well, I want to ensure everyone regardless of technical ability can look into what their device is doing, so I am planning on ways to make Stardust debuggable by users.
I ask for sponsorship because I want to do this full time. I've tried doing Stardust while managing a job and both the job and Stardust was difficult because it. I'd also appreciate contributions to the codebase too, so if you're interested please contact me.
