My current focus

my extensions (brofix, migrate2composer, ...)
TYPO3 core bugfixes and small features (focus on usability)

add Pull Requests to 3rdparty extensions for bugfixes and to make them ready for next TYPO3 release
Improve TYPO3 documentation (this is less of a focus now, because the documentation is already pretty great due to combined effort of TYPO3 community and TYPO3 Documentation Team)

My background
I work as a TYPO3 administrator and developer at a university in Germany. I have a degree in Applied Computing Science.
My motivation to contribute
The long term motto of TYPO3 has been "Inspiring people to share".
I would like to add: "Inspiring people to care": Care about the software, care about the documentation, care about others who use it. Make it better!
My motivation is to contribute to a system I use daily, to collaborate with others and improve my knowledge.
TYPO3 is a CMS based on PHP that has been evolving rapidly. The release cycles have introduced a number of deprecations, breaking changes and new features.
The system has been adopting standards and been getting rid of legacy and unmaintainable code. While this is good for TYPO3, it has not been easy to keep up with this fast pace.
I strive to help in making it easier to start with TYPO3 and love working with it.
I would like to be a part of achieving this goal.
