Hi, I am Steven and I hope you can help support me with my open-source journey.
I started volunteering for different charities, helping them get to an MVP stage so they could apply for funding take their ideas to the next stage and have them achieve their vision. I have now started working on open-source projects to help where I can.
I started by doing a couple of Hacktoberfests challenges and have now created my first VS Code snippets extension for React Intt by FormatJS. I am planning a new app which acts as a central hub for small animal rehoming charities to post what animals they have available for rehoming. I am planning to make this open source with the view that while I will have it as a central location small charities will be able to use it as a website so that it will help them find forever homes for their animals. You can find my progress on this app in my blog on the animal rehoming app. Once I have a repo I will add it here as well
