I'm Stefan, a software engineer and open source maintainer.
Since 2017 I've been working on open source projects in the cloud-native ecosystem. I'm one of the core maintainers of Flux CD, a GitOps Continuous Delivery solution for Kubernetes and a CNCF graduated project. I'm the creator of Flagger a Progressive Delivery operator for Kubernetes.
In 2023 I've started working in my spare time on a new project called Timoni.
Timoni is a package manager for Kubernetes, powered by CUE lang. The Timoni project strives to improve the UX of authoring Kubernetes configs. Instead of mingling Go templates with YAML like Helm, or layering YAML on top of each-other like Kustomize, Timoni relies on cuelang's type safety, code generation and data validation features to offer a better experience of creating, packaging and delivering apps to Kubernetes.
