I work as a Researcher and Rust developer and contribute to open source projects in my spare time.
I am the creator and main developer of the numerical optimization library argmin and other related crates.

argmin is not only a collection of optimization algorithms. One of its main objectives is the simplification of the design and implementation of optimization algorithms. It is type-agnostic, supports multiple math/linalg backends and can easily be extended. For more details please visit the website, have a look at the book, or study the source code.
I have many ideas on how to move the argmin ecosystem forward, but, much like most other things, this requires time.
