I'm Smári. I've been working on free software in one form or another since the mid-90's. Nowadays I work mostly on Earth systems modeling and environmental data analysis at my company, Ecosophy, but I also maintain several libraries for the Jai programming language, as well as a number of other various projects.
My work gets funded in various different ways, but as a free software advocate I'd like to be able to spend a lot of my time working on projects that can be released to the public.
