Hi 👋
My name is Sandro Circi. I'm formally a photographer, insanely curious and passioned optimizer.
Both my passion and work splits up evenly in Media Creation and Software Development, with a particular focus on Photography and Full Stack Development (both down to an hardware level).
Something I enjoy doing, and find myself good at, are One-on-One Counseling.
This is particularly true for:
Photo and Video Production/Post-Productions, with a deep knowledge for Color Science and Media Encoding (intermediates, mastering and delivery).
Defining the structure of new features or the ways to improve existing ones in Software Development.
I might not be the best developer, but the Open Source world made possible to me to stand on the shoulders of giants and use confidently tools like: Blender, Directus, Docker, FFmpeg, Git, NodeJS, Nuxt, Typescript, Vue.
My work is both in English and Italian, depending on the context and/or deployment.
My key strengths:
Curiosity.
Optimizer.
Dreaming up ideas.
Finding weak stops.
Looking from multiple perspectives at once.
My current focus:
Building stuff with Nuxt 3 and Directus.
One-on-One Counseling.
Using containerization for both dev and prod.
Experiment with whatever tickles my curiosity.
Why a Sponsor Program?
While all my projects are Open Source, in their early stages they aren't Public. The Sponsor Program you not only support me, but depending on the tier you gain access on what I'm currently working on.
But most importantly some of the counseling I make are specific to their environment and each one requires its custom approach. This requires time and knowledge that most often is detracted from other projects, making the Sponsor Program the easiest way to support what I do.
