Since May 5, 2025, Qobuz launched their Qobuz Connect feature, and I'm actively working on building the first open-source implementation. Following the success of pleezer and librespot, this project aims to bring Qobuz's high-resolution audio streaming to any device through an open-source player.

librespot
As a core maintainer of librespot, I've delivered major architectural improvements:

API Migration: Led the migration from Spotify's legacy protocol to their new HTTP-based API, ensuring librespot's long-term viability
Audio Quality Enhancements: Implemented advanced audio processing features including dithering, dynamic limiting, and floating-point processing for audiophile-grade playback
Ongoing Maintenance: Continuously updating compatibility and fixing issues to keep librespot reliable for thousands of users

Rodio (Rust Audio Foundation)
I contribute to Rodio, a foundational Rust audio playback library that powers many audio applications in the Rust ecosystem. Rodio handles audio mixing, format decoding, and cross-platform playback—making it the backbone that enables projects like librespot and future streaming implementations to deliver high-quality audio across different operating systems and hardware configurations.
pleezer (Legacy Project)
pleezer was the first open-source implementation of the Deezer Connect protocol, enabling Deezer playback on countless devices and proving that open-source streaming implementations were not only possible but superior in many ways.
Note: As of May 6, 2025, Deezer officially discontinued Deezer Connect, so pleezer is no longer functional unless they reinstate the protocol.
