Hey fellows !
You likely don't know me, so let me give a short introduction.
My name is Tim and I'm living near Hamburg, Germany with my wife, two kids, dog, cat, chicken and ten-thousands of bees. I'm a software developer (mostly C, Java and different script languages), software system designer, also doing consulting and customer support. All that was seeded ~35 years ago with a C64 ;-)
Around 2012 I started to "give back" to the free and open source community by fixing issues in different projects. Soon I became project maintainer - currently that is GNU Wget / Wget2, GNU libidn / libidn2, libpsl and developer for GnuTLS, GNU libtasn1, GNU libmicrohttpd. Of course I contribute to any project when I run into issues (glibc, gcc, gnulib, curl, ...). This easily sums up to 700-1000 unpaid hours of work per year.
Your money would go into these projects. Depending on the tier of sponsoring, you could possibly move my attention to other projects as well 😊.
Any support for my work is highly appreciated and highly motivates me to continue my efforts. My dream is working full time on free and open source projects 🙌.
