Rye language is my project from 2018 so it's been in development for more than 5 years and I don't intend to stop. The goal is to make a practical and useful language, so there are tons of work on various facets of the language.
Because I want Rye to achieve useful state sooner rather than later, I sometimes pay additional developers to speed up development on specific subprojects (like ryegen, spreadsheet serialisation, unit testing, specific builtin modules, ...).
I have no problem working for free on Rye, but I would be very happy of any financial help that would help pay external developer's costs.
