My dad, a self-taught jack-of-all-trades, used to love to say "A place for everything and everything in it's place". He wanted to stay productive and be able to find and work with his tools with no fuss.
My name is Rodney Brooks and I have been building web applications for over 20 years. I am no jack-of-all-trades. But Dad's saying keeps coming back as I use Apps DevOps and AppsJS.
As is true with other frameworks, their design certainly reflects my opinions. And my opinion is that the best gift you can give a product owner is code that can be born and grow without pain. So I build software that starts with choosing a component name. You almost can't use this methodology unless you and the product owner have thought about what the software's "concepts" are. I also believe that code should be able to be read by anybody else or after coming back to it after 6 months.
My goal is to generate a modest income by evangelizing what I believe to be a very efficient and cost-effective web, service and desktop application development methodology. A method that pays dividends over and over again because it is ridiculously easy to use and maintain. I created it in 2016 and have been using it everywhere I work ever since.
