I work on a number of Rust libraries for GUI, graphics, fonts, and text processing. Most of my effort these days goes into druid and supporting libraries. Among other things, I created pulldown-cmark.
At the moment I'm doing this work entirely as a labor of love, though I have gotten funding in the past and am open to conversations for the future.
My approach to open source is to encourage as much community participation as possible. In addition to coding, I enjoy writing in-depth technical articles on my blog, presenting at meetups and conferences, and participating in discussions on the xi zulip.
