How did I get here? Once upon a time, I was casually developing a desktop application, and noticed a bug when I transitioned from PIL to Pillow. A thousand PRs later, I've become the most frequent contributor to Pillow and learned that sometimes when you contribute to open source code, that code ends up running on a helicopter on Mars.
