I am Gilles and I live in Strasbourg, France. I am creating microStudio, an open source game engine. My goals with microStudio are the following:

create the most accessible environment for young people to dive into programming and create games. For microStudio, accessible means free, documented and available in one click, from your web browser.
cover all aspects of digital creation, including code, graphics, sounds and music
make microStudio a solid contender in the game engine arena

At some point in the future, I might try to make money by selling hosted microStudio installs for schools and teachers, with specific educational features added.
