I like sharing knowledge and making the common wheel that should not be reinvented a little better.
Some of the most used packages I maintain are pytest, pylint, prospector, astroid, django-survey-and-report, pysankeybeta, django-zxcvbn-password-validator.
When there is a problem in an open software I'm using, I will retro-engineer it and fix the problem at the root. So I'm mostly contributing to software I'm using myself. The main project being pre-commit, black, pygame, bagnon/wildpants (bag handler library in world of warcraft), marshmallow or django-rest-framework.
