I’m the lead developer of Gdevice, a lightweight parallel computing engine designed to run CPU and GPU programs promiscuously while maximizing general-purpose computational power within real-time applications written in C++.
My initial intention was to run a proof of concept for a level-of-detail algorithm. Over time it expanded into many things and eventually into the process itself of exploring the uncharted territories in real-time rendering and parallel computing that are not explorable within the enterprise premises where the affordance for the risk of failure is limited or constrained.
I decided to expose this work to the outer world so that more passionate pioneers and coders can use it, even just as an intellectual exercise (as I do), and possibly contribute to the project, with me and perhaps after me. Because life is, after all, finite.
I wish that I will get more time and more feedback in order to achieve the following mid-term goals (that’s why the sponsorship):

Develop a walking-simulator to test the maturity of the project.
Disclose the details of the algorithms and techniques in a blog.

Any donation, whatever amount, any word of appreciation and any constructive criticism will be received as a sign of love. It means that you do care. You care about enabling creative people to keep on creating and giving a chance to make this world a better place. And that means a lot to me, in terms of motivation, to continue doing what I’m doing.
Thank you!
