I sold everything I owned in 2019 and cycled around 32+ countries seeing fires, floods, droughts, deforestation happening everywhere, and trying to raise awareness of solutions. Fundraising as I went got 100,000 trees planted, but that was not enough, so I've set up a climate action charity Protect Earth planting trees thousands of trees and restoring ancient woodlands.

Trying to maintain all the old OSS libraries I've not managed to give away yet is adding a bit of stress millions of people use. I'm trying to launch a Green Tech dev studio Green Turtle, and finish up some new books for APIs You Won't Hate, none of which is paying much at the moment.
