Here's a bit about me:

I'm Paulo, a software / game developer from São Paulo, Brazil, currently living in London, UK. My cause is Education. I have a degree in Digital Games, with an extra year in Computer Science, a little over 5 years of industry work, and loads to learn.
I develop and maintain the workflow to support online remote coding workshops for 15~19 years old students in my hometown's neighbourhood Parque Novo Mundo, where I grew up. I wish this to grow internationally, but for now I can't pay the bills with charity.

A bit about my work:

As part of a non-profit called Pense & Cre, this work I do is free for the community (which is honestly scarce of resources). Personally I work 9-to-5 for my regular employer to pay the bills, as a software / game developer, so I can only work at Pense & Cre on my spare time. I'm currently even paying for the website, unity plug-ins, workforce, etc.
I started lecturing workshops face-to-face, as part of a research project at university in 2011. Now, I got a few workstations setup at home to do that remotely with little to no previous setup required from the student. Soon I'll invite more teachers to join me too, but I'll have to pay them, with your support.
These workshops can't be done on the phone. Many of the students don't have a computer, or their internet access has limited data or slow speed, so they need an access station to attend these remote workshops. With your support, I'll save money to pay for a headquarters building, install internet fiber connection there for students to come and learn, and pay more IT professionals like me to teach.
