Howdy! I'm Phillip, a neuroscientist and sometimes applied statistician.
I am one of the authors of MixedModels.jl , a high-performance Julia package for fitting mixed models. If you've ever used lme4 in R and wished it were faster, then MixedModels.jl is just what you're looking for. Speaking of lme4, I'm also the author of JellyMe4.jl, a Julia package that allows you to move models back and forth between R and Julia so that you can have the speed of MixedModels.jl without leaving your favorite R packages behind. I also contribute more broadly to the JuliaStats ecosystem and a few other packages around mixed models. In the past, you could find me slinging Python code for neuroscience (e.g., MNE-Python) as well, but nowadays, you're more likely to find me working on Julia-Python interoperability by writing Julia wrappers around Python tools.
These days, most of my open source contributions are in my spare time. Sponsoring me is a really great way to help me keep up with contributions for important projects.
Thanks and have a great day!
