Hi, I am Fedor, I am doing games and game tools in Rust programming language.
After 5+ years of professional game development I quit my job and made the first big 3D action game in rust, SHAR. Shar made all the way from the prototype to the Steam Greenlight (it was a thing back then) and release. Afterward I helped a few other games to make it into Steam and mobile stores, and through this experience I found an unoccupied niche in rust eco-system: super portable and lightweight visualization framework.
Not only games, imagine if adding rendering to the rust app will not add any extra compile time and will work on pretty much anything. That is exactly what I am building.

Why I need funding now
Macroquad is growing, but I want it to grow faster.
I believe the most important thing for the game engine - is a good showcase game. I need resources to speed the development of the game I am building with macroquad. I am going to hire an artist, but being self-funded I can barely afford my own work.
