Welcome! I am a solo Muslim passionate about creating fun (and educational) digital games, and portraying Islam positively in the media, in my spare time under the name Deen Games. You can find my games here.
I also create tools and services to help indie game developers lift themselves up. These days, I'm working on Puffin, a 2D game engine built on top of MonoGame. In the past, I created a "Critical Canvas" Discord server for gamedevs to get feedback on their game art, and a guide to getting self-published on the Switch.
I've been creating open-source games on GitHub since 2010. You may have noticed that many games display Islam and Muslims as barbaric, evil, and backward - contributing to the narrative of Islamophobia. I'm building games that reverse this narrative and show that just regular human beings, like anyone else.
