Finally a chance to ramble on. I have verbally championed open source and the benefits of investing time and money into projects. While I have occasionally done the money part, I have never really felt I could do the time part until now. In 2020 I started learning Python and as a result, I started talking with other developers who encouraged me to contribute to open source.
