I created Best of JavaScript in 2015 with a simple idea in mind: gather in one place the best projects related to Node.js and the web platform.
I was fascinated by the evolution of the language I know and love (JavaScript) and by all the possibilities it offers about mobile, server-side apps, desktop apps…
However it was hard to stay up-to-date with the latest trends, the landscape was changing so fast... and it's still changing fast!
At the time, I used to take notes about the projects to check and keep track of the number of stars on GitHub.
So I wanted to build something useful to other developers who want to check the trends and know about the best components to build applications.
Now Best of JavaScript shows a curated list of more than 1,500 projects, classified under more than 160 tags.
The application is updated on a daily basis: new projects are added, deprecated projects are removed.
In addition, I send a newsletter every week that includes the rankings and the story of the week.
Help me make Best of JavaScript better (and keep it totally free of any ad!)
