Open-source development and maintenance is a thankless and sometimes lonely endeavor. Thankfully, the community is starting to realize this and we're each making active efforts to make open-source a more supported and appreciated endeavor.
Personally I'm not an open-source pioneer, most of my contributions are made to improve or advance the projects that I believe in and use on a weekly basis. Some of my contributions including documentation writing and reviews, code contributions, and community support (by resolving issues and helping in PRs). We have amazing projects built by amazing people, and I just want to spread the word and make it easier for people to learn and use them.
