Mellium started as an attempt to bring together two technologies with a focus on concurrency: Go and XMPP. It has now grown into a fully fledged XMPP library that supports both the client and server side of the XMPP protocol as well as a number of related tools. Mellium is cooperatively developed in accordance with the ICAs "Statement on the Cooperative Identity" and all donations go towards supporting the developers.
