I'm Rob, I'm a developer with over 20 years experience in front end engineering, having worked on BBC iPlayer for 4 years, Amazon Prime Video for 9 years, and a myriad of companies before that.
I'm working on a Discord bot for Modders to hook in to, which will allow them to mute/deafen players in discord while playing in their games. While I've got an addon for Garry's Mod that uses this project, the endpoints are open to anyone to access.
This project will require a server to be running at all times for the bot to communicate with discord. I've had a self-hosted version for the last year, but it's become clear that the right solution is to host a single bot, and let others connect to it. Unfortunately these servers costs money, and that's where I could use the occasional donation comes in, to cover those costs.
