This is makedeb, a simplicity-focused packaging tool for Debian archives.
Our goal is to reinvent how people package their applications for Debian-based systems, by making it easier, simplistic, and ultimately more maintainable. With makedeb, you can focus on developing your application, instead of trying to fiddle around with complex packaging systems that are difficult to learn and master.
And it doesn't stop with just makedeb. We also have the MPR, a user-led platform for packages to use with makedeb. And for those that don't like compiling packages directly, the Prebuilt-MPR exists, providing a quick and easy way to install packages from the MPR directly via APT, without makedeb even being installed.
