About Lyngon
In 2020, after over 12 years as a Video Analytics Systems Architect at Accenture in both France and Singapore, Swedish national Anders Åström decided to start his own IT business, primarily focusing on real-time and streaming processing.
Besides consulting and development services, Lyngon is developing tools and middle-wares for various niche processing needs, with the ambition of releasing as much as possible as FOSS.
If things go according to plan, a middle-ware specifically for Video Processing / Video Analytics (working title: Sylt), will be released sometime in 2021.
In the meantime, we've open sourced one of our internal tools, redgrease, which was originally used just to help rapidly prototype custom Redis Modules, in Python instead of C, using Redis Gears' ComanndReader / Triggers, but the project evolved an got a life of its own and is now a general purpose Redis Gears client and runtime helpers and more.
