I'm an Irish full-stack web and graphics engineer, currently living in Vietnam. I specialize in responsive front-end development using WebGL, three.js, modern (ES6+) JavaScript, and React. My preferred CSS framework is Tailwind. Sometimes I dabble in Svelte.js.
I'm the author of a book on three.js called Discover three.js, and I'm one of the main contributors to the three.js project, with over 250 merged pull requests. My focus has been on improving interoperability between the web and 3D applications such as 3DS Max, Blender, Maya, Lightwave, and Cinema4D, and as part of this goal, I'm the author and maintainer of the three.js loaders for Autodesk FBX and Lightwave LWO formats. I also wrote a large portion of the three.js docs and have contributed several of the official examples, including these:

Recently, I've discovered the joys of working with React-three-fiber and this is now my preferred way to create three.js applications. This has caused me to switch the focus of my open source contributions to improving the overall three.js ecosystem with the goal of making the creation of 3D websites easier than it has ever been. We are at the beginning of a golden age of 3D on the web and I'm excited to be a part of it.
