You are on this page because someone told you about how awesome my how-to tech videos are.
Here are some answers to common questions I get:

What how-to tech videos do you make?
-- Pretty much anything popular! If I don't have a video you would like, let me know here: https://requests.log.vin
If a specific video is having problems playing, what should I do?
-- Let me know! Sign into this site using your Plex credentials and report the issue there, and I'll try and fix: https://requests.log.vin
How much should I donate?
-- Everyone has different circumstances in life. Most people chip in $5 or $10 a month. Having a low-income month? Don't donate anything. I'm not trying to make a profit, just offset some of my costs. I don't audit my users and donations - if you stop donating, I'm not going to kick you off or anything.
What are your costs involved?
-- Server hosting: $100
-- Storage: $50
-- 3rd Party Apps: $50
Can I share my login/password with others?
-- I do not have any automatic processes to prevent this, but would prefer you to only use your account for YOU. If you have a good friend / family member who you would like me to invite with their own account - just let me know via e-mail or SMS.
Do I have to donate?
-- NOPE. This is a hobby, NOT a business for me. I run this system primarily for my family.
Do you have outages?
-- Sometimes! This is a hobby for me, and I don't have the funding to offer a business-class service. My family watches these videos daily though - so if the server goes down or has an issue I usually am made aware quickly!
Can I request an old video?
-- Absolutely. I can't promise I can find everything, but I'm pretty resourceful! All requests should go here: https://requests.log.vin
Are there any limits on requests?
-- Unfortunately, I have to monitor my storage closely to ensure I don't upload too many how-to videos at once. I allow everyone to request 2x "Movie" focused how-to videos a week. I also allow unlimited "TV Show" focused how-to videos, but only for NEW videos. If you want me to download "Old Seasons" of how-to videos, I have to do that manually and it could take a few weeks - try and avoid
This must take a LOT of your time!
-- Thankfully, I enjoy messing around with this stuff, and I've spent a lot of time automating my processes. I spend less than 15 minutes a week on this stuff, so don't stress about giving me extra junk.
Can I refer a friend?
-- Yes, but please treat this like "Fight Club" - Don't talk about it. I can only handle so many users at once before the server gets overloaded. Only refer really good friends or family members.
Something is not working - who can help?
-- I do not provide any official support. If you run into an issue please feel free to reach out, but my life and family always come before these how-to videos :)

Ready to start?

Go to https://plex.tv and sign up for a Plex account. Plex is a 3rd party who develops the server and client software that you will use on your phone/tablet/smart TV.
Send me your Plex username via e-mail or Discord: Logvin#9678
I will add you to my server, and you will get an e-mail from my server, which is named ThirtyEight
You have to go to the e-mail you used to sign up, and click "I accept" on the invite from my server

You are now ready to roll! Download the Plex app on your favorite smart device, and you should see my server pop up on your list.
