I maintain something like 20 projects which I created as well as contribute to countless projects maintained by other teams and developers. Most are my projects are targeted for improving WordPress development. A few others are tools for creating TypeScript applications.
Historically, I have been maintaining everything on my own time for fun and to sustain my own client projects. As my userbase continues to grow, it occurred to me that I could take my open source to the next level if I was able to scale my clients back and dedicate part or all of my workday to my open source projects. Who knows what could happen if I got enough funding?
Even with minimal or no funding, I'm going to continue to publish bleeding edge tools for your and my benefit.
