I am a software engineer in Honolulu, Hawaii 🇺🇸 working on the 📝Math Homework Generator, a generator for teachers👨‍🏫, parents👪, and students👨‍🎓 to generate printable worksheets for practicing math.

As a parent, I was looking for worksheets for them to use during the summer break. I found several solutions but I wasn't satisfied with them so I created my own. I started with simple equations and then worked my way through more complex problems. Over the summer, I was able to teach my 8-year-old multiplication and division, and my 6-year-old adding and subtracting large numbers. The technique I like to emphasize is practice.

As a college student, I found that the college text books did not provide enough variation and quantity of homework equations to fully grasp the concepts. I just practiced the same equations over and over, but I ended up memorizing the problems.
