GitHub Sponsors Profile
My primary open source work is on Figaro, a Ruby gem for Rails app configuration using environment variables and YAML configuration files.
I haven't contributed much to Figaro in some time now. I blame kids and my new (amazing) job at GitHub. Nevertheless, I have a great start on Figaro 2.0, which includes environment variable casting to various Ruby types. But there's still quite a bit of the mundane work of adding command line tooling for upgrading from Figaro 1.x and generally bringing the package back up to speed with the latest and greatest versions of Ruby and Rails.
Sponsorship is a great way for me to understand the value of these next steps and to help carry me through some of the slog. I'd also love to expand Figaro's maintainership, which I've been notoriously bad at. So please reach out if you're interested in lending a (non-financial) helping hand!
