Hey there I'm Peter,
I'm a hacker and maker of things. I build python apps mainly but also dabble in 3D modeling, printing, electronics, virtual reality. My main focus right now is the Ix AI agent platform.
I founded Ix to experiment building AI powered agents. Making it easy to design and deploy agents unlocks a future where makers can focus more on their ideas rather than every implementation detail.
Background
My background is over 20 years as a software engineer and a decade hacking on my own before that. My career includes the Oregon State University Open Source Lab and several startups after that. I focus mainly on solving tough database scaling and optimization problems.
My day job is currently leading a team that builds data analysis & storage systems for Myriad Genetics. I architected the storage and analysis system for genetic data that flows out of the various labs. I was hired originally by Counsyl and stayed with Myriad post acquisition.
