Originally from Barbados, I started my career as a PHP developer back in the 2000s doing web development for start ups in the Toronto area. I worked for small startups, some managing very high customer demand on the server side. This is where I first learned the tips and tricks of dealing with infrastructure scaling on a budget. A few years after the iPhone came out, I moved back to Barbados and ran my own shop for a few years focused on iOS app development.
As we enter the 2020s, thanks to some moves in the Swift on Server space, I can now put the two together and work on Swift in the Cloud. Swift + Serverless Cloud on a global scale. I'll be working to develop and explain the tools that help Swift developers get their apps into the AWS cloud and I'll use any sponsorships to help me do so.

AWS Swift MultiRegion API was the first demonstration of this. The following examples depend on this project.
