I am an experienced contributor to open-source projects, specifically WordPress. I am also a core committer, having been a design lead for several releases and a core editor tech lead for one. I led a default theme release and was the design lead for phase one of Gutenberg, the block editor.
I was a full-time contributor previously and am now looking to continue my work as a contributor. I am currently working on editing experience and contributing as a core committer to WordPress.
I will use the funds to donate my time to the project core, focusing on the core editor, design system, extensibility, core and editor triage, commit tickets (with a focus on closing), and working on the default theme task force.
