I am working on @babeljs focusing on performance. I spent considerable amount of time triaging issues and reviewing pull requests. I also contribute to the upstream libraries of babel, such as regexpu-core and regjsparser. Besides the babel ecosystem, I authored postcss-font-family-system-ui and other npm libraries.
I love diving into the programming language, JavaScript engines and assembly codes. I don't consider Babel and its dependencies merely a JavaScript application, but it combines with the JavaScript engines v8 into a native program. By switching different abstract levels I find many opportunities to optimize babel.
